Has anybody taken any online courses that substantially increased their understanding of money management? I’m looking for foundational courses to start developing a mind for saving and managing money. The good news: I have no debt. The bad news: I have no savings. Just looking to be smarter with the way I live. Thanks in advance everyone.

Khan Academy has free courses for personal finance. I haven’t taken the time to look through this in particular yet, but I know Khan Academy is a high quality math tutoring resource so it’s probably good content. Also, looks to have all the basic and important subjects for money management. Hope it helps!

Hell of a recommendation right here. I just finished it today. A very rewarding read. I will be looking into the others. Got any other recs juice4lsu? I’m just doing my best to learn.

If you were in debt, Dave Ramsey is good. I don’t necessarily believe everything he says such as not having a credit card, but his points are common sense, just things we don’t think about.

A lot of people I know listen to him. And, I guess when I think about it, those people are way better off than me so I should probably listen to him too.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.

Richest Man in Babylon is definitely my favorite for basic money principles and basics of personal finance. Any particular area you are looking for? Budgeting, Investing, or something more like life related?

Principles by Ray Dalio is really good, but more as a book on life and a bit more complicated on the investment/money management side.
