Cheapest Homeowners Insurance in Metairie

Just renewed my homeowner’s insurance for my house in 70002 and my premium has gone up almost 45% Since 2 years ago. I’m paying about $1.40 / SF annually. Have never made a claim. I use a broker who I trust to shop my policy, but thought I would check here if anyone thinks I could do better.

I’m in 70002 and bought a house dec last year.
House is about 3200 sq ft

I got a house in February and ASI/Progressive was by far the cheapest

Check out bankers insurance. Just got a quote for $1,800 a year for $500,000 coverage .

I’m in 70005. Got a quote through TWFG in Metairie and saved a ton. I pay about $1.20/sq ft. Policy is through SageSure. House was built in 1937 and has a pool; the age really limited my options.
