+125% on the month.

I may have missed out on “the dip” last month. Looks like there is no stopping it.

Back down to $9.01 this morning. If it drops any further, I may have to jump back in.

Yesterday had me excited but, it will probably fall a bit more short term as it corrects. I still think it's a great long term buy, especially if green/alternative energy keeps being pushed forward.

Glad I got in on this. Went long at $8.50.

Hydrogen cells might just be the flavor of the year, but it doesn't hurt to ride the wave. Enviro-nerds are pushing Hydrogen fuel cells hard as the current "future" of green energy.

Eventually, fuel cells will dominate as power generators due to their extremely high efficiency and unlike batteries, they can be refueled. There are many types of fuel cells. Some are in the 80% range of efficiency.

Some of the problems like the need for platinum for a catalyst in some types have been solved with nano-tech using base metals for example.

An Auburn engineer reported that they had gone with a bunch of fuel cells for remote cell phone towers, but that they had a lot of problems with maintenance. It will get there, and it will dominate, but it will take time.

I think this company is just getting started. At least, I hope so.

Fuel cells have powered many satellites. The satellite ones were mostly alkaloid based fuel cells which basically uses purified pot ash as the catalyst. They work extremely well with pure hydrogen and oxygen as fuel and require no precious metals as catalysts to produce 80% efficiency.

Unfortunately, for earthly use the alkaloid medium is quickly poisoned by any carbon that gets into the system.

Hydrogen production and handling is not really an impediment.

There are several types of fuel cells that can use various fuels. Fascinating stuff.

Any guesses on the ceiling here? Just curious if $14.xx is still a good buy. Kicking myself for selling my 100 shares when it was around $2 a share!

I really think they are just getting started. They just developed a hydrogen fuel cell for robotic and drone applications. LINK

Coincidentally, Amazon just got approval for drone delivery. Amazon is already one of Plug’s biggest customers and uses Plug fuel cells for its forklifts in the warehouses.
