Any TSP individuals on here?

I have always had my money in the "S" Fund for nearly 20 years. It has done rather well, especially as of late ($79.12).
I can't imagine that anyone on this site hasn't logged into their TSP account. But, when individuals start their accounts, until they go in and manually change or assign the distribution differently, they place all your money into the "G" Fund.
Unless you are using it as a safe landing spot when everything else is going to hell in a hand bag, that is acceptable. But otherwise, based on the modeling, it earns 1 cent per/share every couple of weeks ($16.50).

Auto enrollment now goes to a life cycle fund so new users dont get defaulted into G.
Im in C/S. I forget the percent. Been maxing out for as long as I can remember. Used to have 10 or 20% I fund but it consistently underperformed and I figure companies in C and S have enough international market exposure I dont need to hold companies specifically based outside US.

Yeah, it’s a lifecycle fund now. I forget which one I’m in, but it’s done pretty well—I started my job in June, so it was a good time to get in

That is a relief. The S & I funds used to be nearly equal. Look at the difference now.
I have been straight S and it is really hard to beat long-term.
