When is the best time to buy LSU Bama tickets?

Right now LSU Bama tickets are going for about $150 (cheap seats). Is it best to grab these now or hope they get cheaper as the season goes on? Trying to make it there from out of state with my sons. I don’t buy a whole lot of tickets so I have no idea. Thank you.

Can’t really speak for LSU-Bama to be exact but every other big game I’ve been to in tiger stadium, I usually wait til the Thursday or Friday before the game and find some really close midfield tickets for like a quarter of what they’re going for in the weeks leading up to the game.
Trying to do that for the FSU game also. They were like 4/500 for the area I wanted to sit in. They’re down to 200 now

They'll only get cheaper if LSU loses a few games.
