Lasted is not the word for what he did. He was dealing nasty breaking balls at the time the 7-inning game ended with Vandy not having to bat in the bottom of the 7th.
He could quite possibly have pitched a complete 9-inning game with no earned runs the way he was throwing.

Hell of a game, Hilliard. Way to step up and provide some consistency from the mound. Just wish the bats would've come to life.

Ump had a pitcher's zone for sure. It went both ways tho.
Saw several FB's over the middle called balls.
But, it was a well pitched game by both pitchers
