It's about the process, not the result. Have you heard that anywhere before?

the play call caused that. he would have had to have thrown a perfect pass. we ran a fade to the SHORTEST guy on the field. it was dumb

can jj THINK OR LEAD w/o looking over to the sidelines for help? that's all i ever see him do when the game is on the line & the clock is running.....i do not think he is better or worse than jlee - i'm just saying, on tv, i ALWAYS see him staring over @ the sidelines frantically for someone to give him a clue.....

t-bob "did good" w/ snapping the ball - all in all, but he should keep his helmet on just in case......

How many times does this need to be said??? How many times have we seen this over and over again? miles mistake is sticking with jj to avoid a qb controversy. And pulling lee at the end of the drive.

Your kidding, right? Have you ever seen a deer at night with headlights aimed at it. That's Jorden ,the doe,Jefferson. He's clueless & scared to make a decision. That's not what you want in a QB thats been in 17 games. But the good news is that it's not his fault completely. G.C. The silver lining is LSU promotes Billy G. or goes out & Buysthe best OC $$$ can buy. Still hoping for a great year with all this talent. Geaux Tigers!!!

No, the play call didn't cause the pick. JL caused it. The play call opened up the possibility of the pick - and that was stupid with an RB that was tearing them up.
I'm generally against Fades in the end zone unless you've got a tall receiver and a damn good QB. But it was a different kind of fade. The problem was that he hung it up in the air for about an hour. We did have a guy. He needed to lead him and not put so much air under it. But it was a stupid call. JL made a great pass the play before that.

it wasn't a fade, it was a wheel route with some mis-direction that got picked up nicely by the D. Lee should have thrown the ball away, the call was fine, execution wasn't...

Yes, that's right. I knew it wasn't really a fade like the other person said, but couldn't remember everything.
He should have thrown it away or thrown it more to the back of the end zone. Ridley had to slow down and try to get in front of the defender to knock it down or catch it.
As for the call - knowing how we were running on them and were less than 10 yards away - I would have ran the ball or tried some type of screen. JL does have a history of putting the ball up for grabs.
