It’s not about being soft or a snowflake. It’s about being morally responsible. The 80s were badass. Hardly anyone was offended. But this kind of crap would’ve been on late night rated R tv, not chanted at a public football game. People knew better. I’m not saying it never happened, but most people back then had common sense, way more respect, and knew better. We’re wondering why this world is going to shite and most kids have zero respect. It’s because they’re allowed to get away with anything. It’s because we get more and more trashy every day, and it’s “no big deal” or “quit being a snowflake” blah blah blah. Most will grow out of the STTDB phase and look back and feel like a dumbass hopefully. With all that said, all of you who downvote this can STTDB.

Before it was STTDB it was Oh We Oh, before that it was Tiger Rag. Half the stadium yells “Kick Their arse” after the first down chant and it’s been that way for at least the 20 years I’ve been attending games (before most of today’s students were even born).
STTDB is pretty unclever, but don’t act like student section profanity is some new generation, lack of respect thing.

Pretty sure “Kick their arse” is a little less trashy and more explainable to a child than oral sex on a Tiger. And sadly, it’s not just students chanting it in the student section. Huge difference.
