Did you literally miss all last season?

So many people live and die with each game. If a player had a bad game or couple of games, they shouldn't be in the lineup. It's hilarious and sad.

Milam, for instance, was batting .175 through game 2 of the Omaha series. 2 games later he's hitting .333. It's like some people don't understand sample sizes.

Settle down tiger, I'm not shitting on him, just making an observation. Outside of maybe a transfer on a potential double play that he wasn't likely to make anyway he hasn't failed to get any outs that I recall. He's been fine, but some throws to first were closer than they probably needed to be, in my opinion. They were outs, so fast enough obviously. Just an observation. Will see how he does as the competition ratchets up this week. Same with the rest of the guys.

Milam has done good at SS in these early games. Same with braswell. I wouldn't critique any of them on defense this early in the season...at relatively new positions.

I've seen a ton of positive, not much to note negative.

Offensively, they've had their struggles in the early season, but that doesn't necessarily translate to season stats.

I think we have a good infield. Braswell, Milam , Dickinson, and Jones.

Depth is more than adequate as of right now.

Agreed. The infield as a whole has been solid thus far. It's waaay too early to tell, but I wonder if the infield will end up being better defensively than the 23 team.

Purely for the sake of discussion: brazzy at 3b has the potential to be a fair bit better, at least before postseason when white got healthy and really turned it on. At SS Thompson was frustratingly erratic with his throws at times but I would still think he's overall superior there to milam or braswell. Dickinson kind of reminds me of dugas in a lot of ways but dickinson has 2 arms so he gets the nod there. Comparing bear to Morgan is kind of unfair, but bear has been great at 1b since taking it over so the drop-off is about a minimal as one could hope for.
