Landry is a Conservative, woody is a liberal democrat. A good friend of mine in the legislature told me some time back they didn’t like each other.
Kelly needed to go. That’s for sure. If this situation was in the business world spectrum Woody would likely have been terminated for signing that contract.
That being said, politics should not have gotten involved in this situation. It’s a bad look to the outside world, but it is Louisiana. Hope we get a great new president, AD, and head football coach!

Who likes Landry? Serious question. I’ve met both in real life in intimate settings and Woodward was a nice, down to Earth guy and Landry had police officers basically stack up and clear the room ahead of him gracing us with his awful, arrogant presence. Keep in mind JBE used to walk around alone and go to mass alone, meanwhile this tool is surrounded by 10 police officers at all times. You’re seeing his self important napoleon complex play out in real time, he’s not doing anything for the betterment of the university
