Giles just shouldn’t see the field.

If anyone ever questions the disparity in talent between the SEC and other conferences, slap them.

This guy was cream of rhe crop in that conference, and he cant do anything here except fair catch punts.

Guybis a class act and he is a Tiger. So i love him. But hebis a step slower than anyone else and really is not any type of threat....at all

How can you know who the best is if you haven’t even seen them much? Are you at the practices? Film room? They could be more talented and just not have an understanding of the plays like the older guys. You think O is dumb enough to bench them if they are better?

I've seen him stop his route multiple times when the defense gets inside position on him on routes over the middle. That's can't happen. Obviously, he missed a big block against Arkansas.

Hannagriff made this point the other day.. that it’s most likely poor blocking and route running keeping the young guys off the field.

What did Giles do last season to merit #7? They said he couldn't be covered...who was on him Tyler Shelvin and Ed Alexander? He is too slow to make a difference in the SEC. Period. Not to knock him, but he does not have the talent to compete with the other WR's on the LSU roster.

As a rule of thumb, if you find yourself writing, or saying, that the coaches are playing the worse players you should immediately stop typing/talking.

That is a huge problem for us offensively. There is a lot to be said about the QB and WR's getting reps together and when you are rolling out 6-8 every game and presumably practice on equal terms, it hampers consistency and familiarity. Alabama has 3-4+ WRs highly recruited who barely see the field because Ruggs, Jeudy and Smith see all the meaningful snaps. That gives Tua opportunity to develop a rapport with his main group. Meanwhile Burrow sees Jefferson, Anderson, Giles, Sullivan, Chase, Marshall, Dillon and for a game or two, Kirklin, rotating in every other series.

Chase struggles to block and that has to be why he's not in every series.

On one of the screens that got blown up he didn't even touch the DB the blew the play up.

Is there a way to get stats for each receiver? Snaps played, targets, catches, and drops would be useful.

Hard to judge them on such a small number of targets. Jefferson is doing well, clearly first read. when your OLine breaks down frequently then you’re first read is going to see more targets than the rest of the WRs and doesn’t matter the rotation at that point

Yeah Dillon is great for a jetsweep or maybe some easy catch type passes as he is dynamic once he has the ball in the open field........but throwing difficult passes his way almost seems like a waste of down.

that is great, but we need two or three others to have 800 yard seasons as well. That is the problem or at least a problem.

it is hard to tell who is actually good when we have 8 receivers but only throw the ball 20-25 times a game, including throws to rb's and te's
