that's how one goes bout explaining away 51 wins, 18 against top 25 teams, 8 over top 10 teams, SEC title, national title, and national rankings.

Want another stat?

Name the teams that have ESPN analysts saying that Mack Brown "almost" pulled a "Les Miles."

Name another school that has Stewart Mandel spewing about bad coaching.

Local articles questioning the coaching decisions of our coach.

ETC.....The list goes on and it is just embarassing. It is not just us.

Answer....not many, if any at all.

And let me guess, Rouge and Fore, you are going to use that "espn hates LSU" crap.

Just stop the bleeding, please.

lets see what Jefferson does in his second season as a starter. those couple of games in 2008 were good for some experience, but last season was really his first as THE QB

2009 was the first season that Greg McElroy was THE QB too, not only as the starter, but to see any significant game action at all. The Gumps also had a sophmore running back win the Heisman with THREE new starters in the offensive line. (Not just TWO like LSU did) Let's see now, new QB and 3 new OL's = National Championship. Even if they lose to Texas, it can't be argued that they have vastly superior head coaching, offensive coordinating, quarterback and offensive line coaching at Alabama than at LSU......

what other fans, media, etc. think about LSU doesn't mean squat to me.

if this offense would have been DECENT at run blocking, the year would have been entirely different. we would have ran more plays per game, RS would have looked much better, we would have scored more points, our D would not have pooped out in the 4th qtr, etc. if this problem is not solved, we will never get better. if it is solved, crowton will become the wizard again and miles will become the hat again. it really is that simple. now, fixing the problem may not be that simple though. you can bet your arse, not only recognized it but worked their butt off all year to improve it. frustrating to say the least.

A lot of if's in there........you know what they say about if's.........

Their pass blocking wasn't much better, and you're totally missing out on this. Who is in charge of this? Ohh yea, it's Les Miles.....Why didn't he see fit to keep Alex Hurst in the game insstead of playing his seniority game and starting Lyle Hitt when he was stinking it up.

Well they did a pretty bad job at it, because they showed very little improvement all year long.
