The rankings are the biggest ruse in sports. In the top 30 there will always be at least 5 teams* from each P4 Conference. As they play each other, one loses and one moves up. By the end of the year there will still be 5 teams* in the Top 30 from each conference.
* except SEC which will have 8 - 9. Yet when playoffs occur, they will pit SEC teams against each other.

Just when we had an opportunity to blow the game open, we did something stupid. Twice we had first and goal at the one yard line, and couldn't get into the end zone either time. You can't do that against good teams and expect to win.
It enrages me to listen to BK call out the defense for their mistakes when they are the only reason we're even in games. You can't beat teams like Bama, A&M, and OU scoring only 20 points.
