Turn on the TV tomorrow and you will see the experts disagreeing with you, when an 8-1 Ole Miss team is ranked ahead of a 2 loss LSU team.

Not sure why I'm wasting my time here, but thought I'd give it a try. Rankings are different from odds to win a head to head matchup. There are always teams that Vegas would favor over someone ranked above them.

Rankings are about what you've earned as much or more than what you are. To rank a 2 loss team over a 1 loss team, it really needs to be justified by something like a massive difference in level of competition. Any team can have a bad day or a great day in a head to head. After that, it becomes subjective and homerism comes into play.

If we really are better than our record, then we need to prove it. We still control our own destiny. It will all work itself out.

TLDR: You really don't understand how this works. Stop calling other posters dumb.
