what is the big deal? Les is supposed to call every player who has graduated or otherwise move on and have a post mortem about the game? he's not even in BR. jeeze

Earth calling......it's 8 days before signing day. CLM is out doing what he should be doing right about now and that's called RECRUITING!

will not devastate, but certainly will not help West Monroe recruiting.

Why do people keep saying "oh something must have happened before the game?"

holy frick. Did you watch the actual game? That is why players are mad. They were not put in position to win this game. The greatest season in LSU history is tarnished by bad coaching. The SR's didnt want to go out like that, obviously

I guess Les was supposed to give him an exit interview? has Will done anything, other than to insinuate, to reach out to Les who (by the way Will) is mandated to secure LSU's future....not it's past. there will be plenty of time after NSD for Will to contact Les and I'm sure Les will be more than happy to "let him know what he has to say." good luck to Will Blackwell and every Tiger who gave us so much to be proud of.

Trying to figure out how these comments by blackwell are supposed to be something damning to les miles. The man is out flying place to place recruiting because signing day is coming up. You expect him to be in touch with every player right now? I know that you are one of those bash everything about les types but be realistic.

Les doesn't need to be out recruiting right now. He needs to be leading group therapy sessions.

i bet if he was in BR, he would have talked to him. Also, this is the most important part of the offseason.

I know. Bunch of tin foil hats up in here.

Les is busy 'cruitin his arse off and Blackwell is in Monroe getting ready for the draft. I'm not terribly surprised they haven't been able to talk much.

yes amd some of the players are obviously just as butthurt/embarrassed as many LSU fans.

couldn't disagree with you more. they were put in perfect position but they just got stomped. I hate to say this but nobody was beating bama with the motivation they had burning in their belly and the gift of redemption ringing in their ears. sure we could have done things differently but that doesn't guarantee that the results would have been any different and they quite possibly could have been much worse. as soon as they announced the rematch I knew we were in a world of shite. the team, which had earned the opportunity for a lifetime of glory, simply did not respond (as they had all year) to the challenge. so they have to accept the fact that even after accomplishing the greatest season in LSU football history....that it still just wasn't enough. it's like being 100yds from the summit of everest and being hit by a storm and getting blown off the mountain. JMHO.

I agree with this. LSU has locked down the state in years past, but Les doesn't need to lose recruiting ground from north Louisiana. We are already losing too many good LA players!

i think some players feel like some fans- they just wonder why we did not try to change the game by utilizing players who played and practiced hard and utilized more of the plays they game planed

They are as confused as we are

I am beginning to think there is not explanation- with CLM some things just defy logic
