You guys realize that we beat Auburn by 2, Ole Miss by a whisker, Arkansas by 7, and Towson played with us for four quarters.

Winning is all that matters! Ask ND.

LSU has two balls that Wilbon doesn't have.

kstate - yes

do you know what the definition of "a few" is?

SURE.This team is NOT playing at THAT LEVEL right now FORE. Just sayin.

OU would throw the ball all over the place against the Tigers. I have NOT seen the pressure that the D-line would need to put on Jones that they would need to.IMO.Arkie and Ole Miss are one thing, BUT OU can flat SCORE.

the team plays at the level it needs to, which is one of the problems, however you can't judge how they might play vs. OU or KState because of how the played vs. Ole Miss.

If they had to play OU on THIS SAT??? Ya think they would be ready based On how the D has been givin up a shitload of yards??? I understand the argument of the offensive ball control an LSU team can do to the other teams D but that has NOT happened the last two weeks. BUT OU is WAY better than Ole Miss AND Arkie on offense. And they have NOT CONTROLED the ball like the offense is set up to do. I am NOT bashing LSU at all. Just talking from what I have seen.

This may be the most frustrating 10 win team, ever. That said, 10 wins is quite an accomplishment considering how the various units have been so inconsistent, and the losses the team suffered (personnel wise)

I would say 2010. But..... This team is VERY YOUNG and will be better NEXT YEAR IMO. BUT it will STILL be MILES FOOTBALL. I am not sure what happend in 2011. They DOMINATED EVERYONE except Bama. Can we have a year like that next year???????? I would like to think so.

I haven't watched OU, but I don't get overly excited about teams scoring a bunch of points on mid-pack Big 12 defenses...how did they do vs. Notre Dame

Don't get me wrong, the d-backs have struggled in zone the past several weeks. Lots of young guys playing. Eugene and Martin have made critical mistakes, and Simon has been very disappointing.

The D is young in certain spots. I think what happened against that last drive against Bama has haunted them for some reason. OU can score alot of points.BUT So can LSU IF they run a good O against OU. Their D is GARBAGE. But I have a feeling we will be playing Clemson In the Chick-Bowl. A good matchup.

He's like SAS...knows nothing about CFB or MLB. At least SAS admits to knowing nothing about CFB.

Lots of people on here make excuses for why LSU has bad game after bad game but I hardly see anyone making excuses for K-State, or Oregon, or Oklahoma, or Stanford, or any of these other 1 or 2 loss teams.

LSU just had a bad game against Auburn, and Ole Miss, and Florida, and Arkansas, and Towson, but K-State is bad, and has been bad all year, and the Baylor game proved it. Likewise, Oregon was over-rated and the Stanford loss proved it, and Stanford was over-rated and the Washington loss proved it, and ND is over-rated because they could barely beat Pitt, and so on...

It's ridiculous. Some fans on here are willing to handwave away a half a season of lousy performances from the home team but will crucify any other team that has a let-down game.

Guess what, LSU is inconsistent as hell, probably the most inconsistent team in the country this year (Florida might top them) and it's not hard to look at who they struggled with and decide that they are just a bad team who punched above their weight in a few games, rather than a good team who played down to their opponents. I don't think that's true, but it's not hard to see the argument.
