If uppity arse Notre Dame would join a freaking conference then there would be no concern on their schedule. You play the cards you’re dealt. I watched some of the selection show, Did anyone say if ND was in conference it……?

No one ever thinks about the strength of schedule conversion. Don’t play anyone? Dont get the benefits

Like they always say: Don't play none, won't be none.

It’s what I’ve been saying too. They need to join a conference. If they did, they control their own destiny. If they don’t, which is what’s happening now they rely on others and luck to control their destiny.

ND played 3 ranked teams and lost 2/3 and they don't play in a conference
did you know that if you play in a conference and you get a big bowl game you share part of the $ with the conference, and if you are an independent you don't have to share the # money with anyone? I also think this might have a little to do with it
