I absolutely disagree with this garbage unless a whistle was blown. If the receiver can stand up and run into the end zone for a TD, then the play is still alive. I applaud Loston trying to knock the ball out for a turnover.
It could have been deemed targeting but they didn't call it. Was it a violent hit? Yes, yes it was. This is football not ballet. There should not have been a penalty called. Period. I don't have a problem with them not calling a personal foul on the Landry hit, as long as this one doesn't get called. Hypocrisy.
