How many in the last 4 years? Forgot though those 2005 and 2007 seasons, they have to carry us.
Over the last 4 years, LSU has a record of 36-14 (.720). For reference, the ONLY program in college football to have a better overall record is Notre Dame. In addition, there are only a handful of coaches in CFB history to have a better winning percentage in a meaningful sample of games.
And this is all excluding the 5 best individual years of Miles's tenure, including two championship years.

The program is on a decline and I, like many others, prefer we make a change before it gets even worse.
That's fine. I, like many others, prefer that should a change be made, we find a competent replacement rather than a goddamn coordinator.

Its how we lost the games. Its how the games that we won look like shite. Yes, wins are wins, but this team is stale and not fun to watch anymore. Thats the main issue
We have a chance to finish in the top 15 this year making it 5 out of the last 6 years finishing in the top 15.
And you're 1 millionth person to start a thread about this

e fact that people expected 9 and 3 and were ok with being in the lower echelon in the SEC says it all.
Not one lsu poster on here has said they were ok with being a lower tier sec program. Not one.

Get ready for more mediocrity, thanks to frick King.
Where is this trend of mediocrity. We have finished top 15 4 of the last 5 seasons.
Please tell me you're not saying top 15 finishes are mmediocrity because lsu has about 20 top 15 finishes in our entire history

Listening to some people on here you would think that Miles only won 7 to 9 games a year for the past 11 years. And half of those didn't count because they werent pretty enough. And for those saying Miles loses to inferior opponents, what is his non conference regular season record?

have also never seen a coach that has done less with more talent
So having the highest win % in lsu history isn't enough?
Having 7 of lsu's 20 top 15 finishes isn't enough?
Beating more rranked teams than any other program during his tenure isn't enough?
Having the #1ooc win % in sec history isn't enough?
Having the 7th best win % in sec history isn't enough?
God I hate ignorant and entitled fans like you.
Melt boy.

Go look at the standings again, chief.
Vanderbilt, Kentucky, South Carolina, Auburn. Those teams are the lower echelon of the SEC. But keep fighting the good fight.

I've never seen a fan base more willing to shite on its own program's accomplishments just because they don't like the coach.
They say the last 3 years have been mediocre but we finished top 15 2 of those 3 years.
Lsu has approximately 20 top 15 finishes in our entire history and you see lsu "fans" on here shitting on them.

How many times has Mullen beaten Miles? I will admit Mullen has done things there no one has done at Starkville. May not like him, but admire what he's done.

Tell that to the players, administration, and personnel he works with on a daily basis this.
You really have no clue.
I hope Miles stays here until he decides to leave just to piss you off and make you miserable. I hope this shite depresses you and keeps you up at night.
I love watching these melts over the best football coach LSU has had. LOVE. IT.

We have shown a lot of improvement tonight vs North Florida, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Calm down this team is young!

Thats fine baw. I hate people that are content with settling for second place. I like to win.
It doesn't matter what the frick Les has done in the past. The current trend is on a downward spiral. See SEC record
6-2
5-3
4-4
5-3
If the CEO of a business wins Business of the year in 2011, and he starts making poor decisions and the business/company starts declining, the board will get his arse out of there before he runs it into the ground.
Les is becoming Mack Brown and Bobby Bowden. He's overstayed his time here.
Omg poor Ole leslie? Best coach of all time, great guy how could he possibly make poor decisions?
-Doesn't change his offense, so much as its to the point where if it doesn't work he throws in the towel and runs it over and over again. Thats called insanity.
-hired a proven failure at defensive coordinator.
-Can't manage a clock if his life depended on it

You do understand that 5 is bigger than 4 and 3 is less than 4, right?
Do you know what trend means?

So you are indeed happy with going 5-3 and losing to a 7-5 Arkansas team by 21 in supposedly the toughest place to play in America?
Same arkansas team that lost to fricking toledo and probably should have 3 wins.
5-3 and 4-4 are equally as bad. Both have you playing in the Taxwhogivesafrick bowl

A couple years ago? Army was good in the 40's at one time. Miles beat him for always but one year. I suppose we can compare Pitt and Fordham in their heydays State? One year?

I am all aboard the Les Miles bandwagon, but let's at least be honest with the facts.
Bama is 47-6 in that same time frame.
Ohio State is 49-4 in that same time frame.
Michigan State is 42-10 in that same time frame.
Hell, even Georgia is 39-13 over the past 4 years, and they just canned their guy.

Mullen ran us out of DV last year. And he is working with a whole lot les than we are.
Dan Mullen is 1-6 against LSU. But that one victory should matter, right?
ETA: Moo State has finished above LSU in the West one time in his coaching career. ONE time in 7 years.
