Sorry to hijack the thread but what's your thoughts on Prattville. I will be taking a job there in the next year and don't know too much about the area.

Quickly I will say this, if you must be moving to this most wretched of states, Prattville is certainly one of the places you want to live...

Thanks. My wife's main question is on the schools. We have three kids all under 4 so school will be important in the near future.

if you are looking for private or christian based education the schools will be top notch. the public schools are not bad from what i hear on the elementary level. the high school here is one of the largest in the state, and as an LSU fan like you might appreciate a serious high school football power. they send tons of kids year in and year out to all levels of college football all over the country..they average 11 signees a year...hope this helps some..
