The name of the complex was Studio Arms
Yes, it seems that was the place in the early '80s. Around 1984, two LSU students, boyfriend and his girlfriend, died from a fire in his apartment at Studio Arms. They had a bunch of candles left burning while sleeping. At least that is what I remember.

I was still an LSU student then and don't remember a fire there. I was either living off of Gardere or my last semester in Tigerland.

I don't celebrate Christmas.
I celebrate Festivus. Hannukah. Kwanzaa.

Yea 940 Stanford is now a condominium complex called Crescent at University Lakes. So the once-iconic Studio Arms Apartments are now gone, gone, gone.

Do you remember seeing the Vince Vance & The Valiants concert in the Student Union building in 1971? They were trendsetters back then.
