The war he's about to start is going to mean much more loss of life than that if things don't change.

I love Miles. I love Miles because I was in the P-Mac when he was introduced and the man was truly thrilled to be here.
I remember him not knowing where he was. "Deer in the headlights", it's a valid statement.

Not only that, when he had the opportunity to take his"dream job" he stuck with us.
Myth. Had ESPN not botched that up he'd be a goner.

He cares about this team and this community, and the man won a National Championship.
So did Fulmer and Spurrier...how's that workin for them now?

quote:

Don't feed me bull shite about Saban's talent. That is a contradictory statement by the same people who say that we have all the talent in the world now and not the coach to do it.
Difference being Saban's recruits didn't always have the star rankings (ie. Jacob Hester, Glenn Dorsey et al.) but he coached 'em up; whereas, Miles' has the star power minus the production (R. Shep; K. Williams, to name a couple).

Gotta corch 'em bro.

Good, that means you're not gay AND you don't know a clown when you see one.

Good statement.

He gave 'em a chance to win that one too, last minute heroics.

UT was a top ranked team in '06. It's like ya'll expect these teams to just lay down because LSU steps on the field.

i have a "want" to love miles, but that ole miss game killed something inside of me. i cant decide if it was the total fornication of the clock, the dementia of time outs, or throwing his qb under the bus. oh, yeah. there was the you tube "clock it" video, lsu's version of the zapruder film. i have defended miles since he arrived. i have wanted to believe he is worth defending. i think he is a class guy and a family man. i think the players enjoy playing for him. i think he can recruit. unfortunately, he lost me after that ole miss game. i havent forgotten the anger and embarassment i felt that night. he lost me that day. sometimes love aint enough.

Get a life and then maybe your personal self worth will not be tied to a fricking college football team.

Not quite. Go find a game where Saban let 17 seconds roll off the clock and resulted in a loss where we ran out of time.

Good try though.

Choctaw, certainly no coach fears another on the surface. But underneath they're concerned. Lately, Les hasn't made a habit of out coaching SEC opponents. All coaches are concerned when facing Nick and Urban. Call it what you will, if not fear then what?

Could it be because they have very talented teams? Saban was not that feared at Michigan State. After foolishly getting Mauck hurt against Florida, how feared was Saban?
Would Saban or Meyer been feared with JJ at QB last year? Do you think Bama would have gone undefeated with JJ at QB? Utah didn't fear a poorly prepared Bama team in the '08 Sugar Bowl.
One can only speculate, but a healthy Colt McCoy,would have had Texas up 14 pts,and Nick's dumb fake punt could have cost Bama the NC. Why do we never hear how Saban beat Texas w/o their starting QB. Had that been LSU,you Miles'bashers would be discrediting the win because of McCoy being hurt.
