Jacob Hester. Hard nosed, loved to hit, always fell forward. And a tremendous ambassador for the school

I Kige this.

I forgot who I thought should be playing ahead of him, but I couldn't imagine that our recruiting had dropped off to the point where we HAD to play a white tailback.

Then, someone with alot more football knowledge than me pointed out that the reason Hester played over whoever I thought was better was because Hester never missed a block, could catch the football, didn't fumble, and ran where he was supposed to run. His "running where his was supposed to run" meant that he rarely got tackled for a loss. You didn't get the spectacular ad libs from him, where he reversed field, outran pursuit, and turned a 4 yard loss into a 50 yard run, but if you needed 3, you got 3.5.

I probably mentally underrated his abilities more than any person to ever play at LSU.

Tommy Casanova #1

I love Les Miles but Charlie Mac will always be my favorite Coach.

Others Jimmy Taylor , Billy Cannon , Bert Jones , Dalton Hilliard , Eric Martin , Josh Reed , Brady James , Glenn Dorsey , Charles Alexander , Mike Anderson , Michael Clayton .

I could go on and on but Tommy C is far and away my favorite. Was my Favorite as a kid and always since.

But ultimately any player ever to don the Purple and Gold and say I want to be a LSU Tiger gets my respect and is part of my family.
