The point is that is does not matter we play both so pull for whoever the hell you want. BTW i think beating an undefeated Georgia that was favored to win it all pre-season sitting at #3 would be alot better win than alabama sitting at about 6 when they come to lsu if they squeeze past georgia.

do you want to be in the driver's seat for the SEC west? if so..... pull for georgia... its not quantum physics

A Georgia win not only helps LSU in the SEC West but I also love the idea of an undefeated UGA coming into Tiger Stadium to get their 1st loss.

Bama or Georgia this weekend and why?

I tend to think I pull for Bama as much as I hate to do so.

Trying to guess your rationalization for the above statement, but can't seem to do so. It's as if you wrote: "Do I shoot myself in the stomach BEFORE OR AFTER I KICK MYSELF IN THE NUTS." First, if it was any SEC West team other than Bama, the easy answer is UGA. UGA is SEC East and we "steal" a loss when an SEC East team beats an SEC West team. If UA beats Bama, then UA moves up, and we have to deal with them to get to the SECCG. If UGA wins, Bama loses and drops with no repurcusions to our move to win the west.

Next...we want to play UGA ranked as high as possible. If they lose to Bama, they drop. If they win they may rise or stay the same. Either way, if we lose to UGA and they are ranked high, we lose little street cred. If we beat UGA and they are ranked high, we gain a lot of cred...and vice versa.

The only reason one would pull for bama is...well, I don't know...unless you have an undying man-love for Saban

Root for either because who you root for has no actual bearing on the outcome of the game. Arguing over who someone should root for is idiotic.

I hate Bama and their fans, so I hope that they get blown off the map.

I'd have to go w/ UGA just cause like everyone else said it helps us win the west

I'll admit it - I've done it, "pulled for" Alabama, in Iron Bowls where that outcome (a Bama win) favored LSU in the standings, tiebreakers, etc. However, my heart was never in it.
