Not a fair comparison at this point. BK hasn't even been here long enough to hire an offensive or defensive Coordinator.

Kelly hasn't even made half of his hires yet; so how can you say that Johnson made the better hires when you don't know what Kelly's are? Not to mention, hiring Frank away from a head coaching position to come back to LSU is pretty damn big.

Like many have said, there is no way anyone can rationally answer this question as neither coach has coached a game here yet; so I'll reserve judgment till after that happens.
On paper, Kelly probably has the slight advantage just because of his record of success in comparison to Johnson's.
However, Johnson certainly feels like a great hire at this point, but we largely base that on just his recruiting and how he speaks in interviews. But if none of that translates into wins and championships, then fans aren't going to like him.
