Where do you see our defense in comparison to last years?

Could they get better? The same? Worse?
I think we get better. Experience has been taken for granted with how well the young guys have performed as of late. What do y'all think?

It will depend on how the interior defensive front turns out.

We have the chance to be better. It will all depend on how our LB core turns out. We are set to have "addition through attrition" minus losing Baker. I'm really excited about Minter, but the other 1-2 spots are a question mark right now.
After that, we need Bennie Logan to continue to step up and some real contribution from Ego Ferguson and I think we will be fine upfront.

Better. The D line will be better IMO with Freak, Ego, and Rasco getting more PT. The other teams will not be able to stop the edge pass rush with SM99 and BM49.

Bennie Logan will be huge IMO and with freak, ego and rasco we will be stout. Idk if our LBs can necessarily get worse and I think minter will be the great. Chavis has a lot to work with with this class and will have his specialty up to par before we know it.

I think our defense hinges on two things. If Craig Loston (or maybe Ronald Martin) can step up to replace Brandon Taylor and Freak or Ego can step up to replace Brock we will be absolutely amazing. Our pass rush figures to be even better this year now that Mingo will be getting more snaps, so if Loston can put us in the right defensive calls
