when your offense continues to get worse, so you think your head coach, who by the way is top paid in college football, still cant realize the problem. LSU's offense was in the bottom 3 for most categories in the SEC. With the players LSU has there is no excuse for this.

It became a disaster because we have a better football team than 9-4 (moron)

For all practical purposes, we should have been 11-2 or 10-3.

2 or 3 of our games were very winnable, we just didn't play smart - players or coaches.

What bothers me more is, we didn't dominate anyone. eg Tech.

I think he learned way more from the Bowdens Cincy and LSU were the only places Bowdens weren't head coach including his playing days.

So he was Saban's hire and rehired by Miles is what you mean.

It's amazing that with all the discussion on here about how it can happen (it's been described and dissected about 10 times), you have to be re-told.

I'll take the hit, it is becominng more evident every frickin year Miles won a NC with Saban's players. Give me the dead horse, bang head, bird emocons, but it's the truth. We put away Auburn and Tulane this year. Every other game was won by having more talent (YES WE ARE MORE TALENTED THAN UGA). When equal talent was on the field, we lost.

9 wins only 24 times in the same length of time...
Well some of the other coaches who won 9 games didn't have 13 games to do it so it isn't a valid argument.

Please don't try to be logical with the Flamers; Unfortunately the Rant has become the BASH Les Miles and the Tigers site. I don't believe any tiger fan is happy with the offense but running Les out of town would be a huge mistake and a National embarrassment. I live in Ga and I can tell you that almost without exception everyone here has alot of respect for Miles. I wish the haters would just become Alabama fans so they can be happy again and enjoy the love fest with St Nick.

when we won two NC's in the past 7 years, you bring a school to this status and you keep it there, bottom f-ing line

When they started paying the head coach $4MM/year and the OC $800M/year to get a bottom 10 offense with the recruiting classes they have been pulling in.

And as has been stated many, many, many times before, it is the trajectory that this team appears to be on that is disturbing, not simply this year's record.

Continue to enjoy YOUR deluded world.

lack of domination was bad, but also think some of the "disaster talk" is cumulative. Goes back to last year. LSU hasn't won a "big game" vs a really good team since GT in the Chik Fil A. Losing to Arkanasas 3 straight, Bama and UF two straight combined with the defense probs of '08 and the offensive probs of '09 look like disaster at times.

And therein lies the problem, myself included. I think we've become spoiled (I know I have) in that wins alone are no longer satisfying; we want to see total domination. I know I'm wrong in my expectations but I can't help it. We used to OWN the first quarter.
