I can't imagine trying to juggle school and football with my first kid a decent drive away in that kind of condition...props to Q for doing the best he can given the situation.

Why did my stating that having kids in college is not a responsible life decision rustle your jimmies so?

You don't know Quantavius. You don't know dick about his life. You don't know dick about situation surrounding the child's conception, what kind of a father he is or what kind of a father he will be. You took a thread talking about his pre-mature baby as an opportunity to get on your high horse and proclaim your view of when it's "right" or "responsible" to have a child, and projected it as if it's the only right way. Get off your throne on Mount Pious and frick off.

Because it's completely unnecessary for this thread. His kid is fighting just to stay alive and you think it's a good idea to mention something like this.

Wishing the best for Quantavious and his family. I've been impressed with his work ethic. He is one of the few guys who is always at practice and working through injuries or other obstacles. Hopefully he can score a few TD's this fall.

I seriously doubt Q woke up one day and said "let me get my girl pregnant!" He made a decisions and at least he's being a man and taking responsibility..

I liked Q. Leslie a lot before I even knew about this and now I'm pulling for him more than ever. Hope he can be an explosive playmaker for us and head to the NFL after this season with a degree. Geaux Q!!

Holy crap man, first of all I made sure to first say that I hoping and praying that Quantavius' baby pulls through and grows into a healthy child.

Second of all, calm down dude.

ETA: I admire Quantavius for how he's stepped up, taken responsibility, and been there for his son and his mother. I will be rooting for him on and off the field.
