I won a silent bid yesterday for two LSU/Bama tickets
What should i expect for my first trip to BAMA?

When I went last time they lined the streets and threw things and taunted us as we walked to our car... Hope for a win cause they get nasty when they win.
I almost threw a punch at one guy who wouldn't stop talking shite.

Don't show your arse, dress like a respectable human being and be humble regardless of the outcome and you will be just fine.

cordial, polite fans. Awesome atmosphere inside. They are loud and proud, but in a different way than what you find in Tiger Stadium; lots and lots of crimson, pomp-pomps, and cries in unison. Pre-game (i.e. with their band marching as it enters the stadium) is intense.
Expect a great game. If LSU wins, be cool and calm as you leave the premises.

The last time we won there I saw lots of LSU people being arrested and ticketed. When we lost people got in my 8 year old cousins face yelling "rammer jammer..." Classless. They have forgotten how to win with class like they did in the 70s, 80s and early 90s. Must be a reflection of their coach...

Yeah, no matter what you see or hear throughout the day just know that Paul Bear Bryant is, in fact, dead.

Worst fans in the SEC, though it's not the students. It's the 30 and older crowd.

Lots and lots of black & white houndstooth clothing. We went in 2005 and tailgated with our LSU friends Alabama friends so we weren't around assholey people.
I remember walking to the stadium and seem to recall that there were a ton of booths selling sutff ... kinda remember it being like a craft fair for some reason. Of course I had been drinking ...
The game was awesome ... we ruined their perfect record to that point. The walk back to the car wasn't so great == too many uncalled for Katrina comments. That sucked and I was no way affected by Katrina.
Have fun ... and when we win, my best advice would be to be humble!

I have been to T-Town 3 times and have had a great time evertime. The people have always been polite for the most part. You have a few idiots but I will always make that trip.
