No way a team from the state of Washington ends up here in BR... the economy is in the (toilet)tank right now, they are never going to send anyone that far away this year...

4 North Carolina/East Carolina

In general they don't put teams from the same conference in the same super regional bracket if one of the teams is a # 1 seed and the other is a # 2 or higher ! For example if Georgia or SC is sent to Clemson as a # 2 seed , it would be unlikely for Clemson to be paired w/LSU . This may also apply to Arky , Bama or Cocks if they are # 2 seeds . If they are lower seeded than # 2 along w/Vandy , they would have a greater chance of being in a regional paired w/LSU for the super regional .

If the SEC ( or any Conference for that matter )has 8 teams , ideally you would want them placed where each , in theory , could make it to Omaha w/o playing another SEC team. This never happens due to seeding & travel factors. However , they do try to apply this theory with the very top seeds from a Conference !
