not arguing punt returns. never have.
early doucet was far, and i mean FAAARRRRRRR from the most talented kr worthy offensive player in 06.

So, you don't think it was possible that a team could have intentionally kicked the ball away from Faulk?
Besides, my point was proven. Give it up.
bs. all you ve proven is that your easily manipulated and you have a short temper. taking 20% of the kr's dosent count.

because 20% = 0% in some made up world

nah, its one very partial example. he was tied for second in kr touches that year, which was his senior (read: most talented) year.

Doc,
Do you think this guy really thinks he knows what he's talking about or do you think he realizes he's clueless and just likes to hear himself talk?
The people I most respect on this board are not always the people I agree with the most. I always respect when someone will admit they were wrong or if they change their perspective based on someone else's opinion.
But for this guy to flat out not be able to name one player in over a century, just proves he's a total windbag who will never admit he's wrong.

What about Joe McKnight for USC the last two years?
Posted on 8/27/09 at 2:36 pm to Dignan
most talented? not even going to speculate who the most talented person on that roster.

he used to be a corpsman, so i'm sure hes good people, but wow this conversation is ridiculous.
shep will more than likely be a great player, but if he wants to KR/PR, why not let him do it?
he's more than likely never going to "start" at QB.
we're really talking about having him on the bench instead of playing on the field as a KR/PR.
our third string QB.

Why don't you speculate?
Joe McKnight was the number one player coming out of high school.
Here's another example: Reggie Bush at USC. He returned punts and kick offs.

Doc,
I totally agree. I just hope I never sit next to this asshat at a game.
"Take Shepard out! He might get hurt! Um, excuse me sir, you just spilled some whiskey on my cardigan. Security! "

I understand what he's saying to a certain degree, but this fear of putting our best athletes at the PR/KR spot is irrational.
all of the elite schools do it.
no one has been maimed yet, as far as I know?

i cant imagine a soph is the most talented (kr type guy) on that team. they're bound to have a better guy as dewep as they are

No one has been maimed. However, a few have been named Heismans.
Reggie Bush, Charles Woodson, Desmond Howard. Tim Brown- All Heisman winners and excellent kick returners.
Do I really have to go on Harper? How many do you need?

This might be his subtle way of finally conceding.
