Put it this way, if not for the drops last night, Mett finishes with 300+ yards, 3 TD's and no picks. If he does that he'll finish the season with 3900 yards and 39 TD's. He'd be a first rounder.

First round pick. I don't think he's a top 10 pick though. Mobility may be an issue but I'd love to be wrong.

Don't take me wrong, I'm thrilled with Mett's play last night and I'm eagerly looking forward to his continued improvement, but let's be real... He still has a long way to go before he's drafted in the first few rounds. Let's see what he looks like against some of the SEC defenses.

A lot of you guys missed the part in the Op that said the word "ceiling"

Consistency is the key, if Mett avoids hot and cold games he should be drafted late first or early second round. Does Mett compare to Ryan Mallet? both seem to have the same body type and arms. It would be better for his career if he was drafted later by the better teams so he could sit and watch for a few years rather than being forced to play early with no talent around him.

Off of potential and if he averages around 250 2TDs the rest of the year somebody with an ichy finger would give up top 10 round pick to get him somewhere in the 20s.

a 6'5 QB with a cannon arm who threw for 3251 and 25 TDs in the SEC, would be a hot commodity. Oh don't forget, he was also NFL trained for a year with a former 11 year NFL OC/QB coach.
