Saban was grea at what he did at lSU... Brought the1st NC to the scholl in over 50 years.. He did things that mattered.... Miles came along and kept it going.. I have never said different................................. My problem is that HOMER LSU fans HATE Saban and what he did here... And make it sound like Miles was A better coach here... Record wise he was... But if you look at the whole picture Saban would / could have done better with certain issues that IMO Miles failed at............

In Sabans 5 years at LSU, one team made it to the National Championship game. Guess who that was dukke. I'll give you a hint, Saban didn't have to face that one team.

In Miles 11 years at LSU, 10 teams made it to the National Championship game and LSU had to face 8 of those teams in the regular season.

SEC teams that were ranked in the final AP poll and teams that LSU faced for those years:

Saban led teams:
2000 - 3 teams
2001 - 2 teams
2002 - 2 teams
2003 - 3 teams
2004 - 2 teams

Miles led teams:
2005 - 4 teams
2006 - 3 teams
2007 - 3 teams
2008 - 4 teams
2009 - 3 teams
2010 - 5 teams
2011 - 3 teams
2012 - 4 teams
2013 - 3 teams
2014 - 4 teams
2015 - 3 teams

So, while I agree that Saban did every well while he was here, he faced a weaker conference schedule than Miles had to face while he was the head coach.

The west was shite compared to now. in 5 years Saban faced 2 west TEAMS that finished in the top 10.

Miles from 2011-2015 faced 9 west teams that finishes top 10.

It's pretty simple 2 sec titles and a natty in 5 years. If you don't see how being the most successful team in the best conference during that span is elite there's no hope for you. Funny you'll shite on anything LSU that's doesn't include Miles. And once again you show the double standard, it's ok for Mikes to lose 5 games because he won a natty but it's not for Saban or O lol. You spend all day saying you don't do something but never miss a chance to prove that in fact that's all you do.. Never could understand fans who put coaches ahead of the entire program though.
