You know as well as I, BH got cornholed after the Auburn game. He went to the bench and never got off again...ever. Miles could have given him a few snaps down the line but for whatever reason said frick it. Makes no sense and certainly was not fair to the kid given the performance of AJ.

Would have been different if AJ had been lighting it up.

and yet here we are....a different season with BH fighting for the starting job. so your point is moot.

and there were 2 reasons he went to the bench...

1. he played horribly
2. he got injured

Hopefully, he wins the job outright. I'll buy the injury....but he did lead us to our only score and certainly could have performed better at home, perhaps against a non-conference foe early in the season.....when AJ was still stinking up the place...ie NMSU game.
That start at AU was an accident waiting to happen and if Miles wanted to prove the kid wasn't ready to assume the role of starter in any capacity, he certainly could have done it earlier in the season.

so you're saying Miles waited to start BH against Auburn on purpose just to prove to the tards out there that he wasn't ready

It would appear he bent to the will of the masses and/or he was sick of seeing AJ flounder around and wanted a change. Whatever the case, one would have to go full retard to actually believe BH would have great success at JH, on the road, in your first career start.
So you tell me.....what was Miles trying to do?

You, as many others, are also under the assumption Miles is above throwing someone out there to prove a point....I'm not. The need to be right rather than do right is strong with Miles.

Then by all means please explain why you would have started that kid in that situation. And try to keep your obvious man-crush on miles in check if you possibly can????

I'll hang up and wait...

Jennings wasn't getting the job done, Harris played well in relief twice earlier in the year, so he tried Harris. Harris played terribly and hurt his ankle. Enter Jennings again.

Not terribly complicated.

You need to get over this. Unfortunately you're too simple-minded to understand that maybe it isn't a completely black and white situation. I've been critical of Miles numerous times over the last 10 years, including last year.

Point taken....and my simple-mindedness happens to be a byproduct of watching of our coaching staff too much in recent years.

i'm just going to believe that harris' ankle was too injured for him to play.

everyone on this board wanted BH to start.

I have no problem with this.... But He could have started Joe Montana against AU and imo it would have been a loss.... I wish he would have started Harris against UK AT HOME. A much better chance of a decent game that way....

I have seen this.. But you act like YOU are the only one who can say anything bad about the Man... If anyone else does you get all pissy and shite....

hindsight is 20/20....but you were one of the many that were saying starting Harris against Auburn was a good idea when the call was made if im not mistaken.

so don't sit here and bash Miles 6 months later for a decision you agreed with at the time

You're right people we're clamoring for BH to start....BUT....not at Auburn for frick's sake. You can't believe this was a good idea unless you're a special kind of Miles homer (see Gray Tiger and LSU Groupee).
AJ came out of the chute firing blanks....there were plenty of opportunities prior to AU to give the kid a try.
