Copout.

Most people cant take admitting they were wrong about something. Yea i have never seen those numbers but after examining them and the article i can definitely see that there most likely were games where there was over 90k people.
There were maybe 3 games. Maybe. And only one of them has the possibility of being an actual reported attendance of over 90k.

In turn making Boats "OMG There have never been that many people" comment blatantly wrong.
Actually, until you or someone else gets the attendance figure for the Bama 12 game, he's the opposite of blatantly wrong.

LSU Assistant Athletic Director/Ticket Manager Brian Broussard indicated that the scanners miss no more than 1,000 tickets at any one game.

Virginia Tech (night game/ESPN) - 92,739 paid; 89,200 actual; 4 percent no-shows
Florida (night game/CBS) - 92,910 paid; 89,800 actual; 3 percent no-shows
Florida (night game/CBS) - 93,129 paid; 88,200 actual; 5 percent no-shows (on the cusp since his response was a guess)

Those are just people in paid seats but what about all the people in the stadium, concessions, tv crews, coaches, players, blah blah blah. Do those count towards "attendance numbers"
Posted on 5/21/14 at 1:45 pm to CarRamrod

I'm not even dignifying that half assed attempt of a reply.

No, and why should people working that don't pay to be there count toward the attendance?

LSU's never had a 90K actual crowd.
Are you Obama's press secretary? Because you are either lying through your teeth or are misinformed; either way, you are DEAD arse WRONG.

What's wrong with presenting facts about attendance in a thread about attendance?
Nothing at all, it's just funny to me

I like when people pop in replying to something at the beginning of the thread without reading the rest of it.

Dumbass. Link to one game with recorded over 90k actual attendance?

It's not like I was taking a shot at LSU. I also brought up Bama and Michigan's actual numbers too. It's not about cutting anyone down.

No, they're working the game. Unless every organizations magically started counting that way, LSU should not as well.

Then how do they announce a "93k attendance, largest crowd, to ever watch a game in tiger stadium" type shite. They just make those numbers up? Because seems like those numbers are always higher than "paid attendance numbers" what about recruits at games? They count?

Paid attendance is different than actual attendance. They announce paid attendance for records and such.

And honestly I have no idea that's why I'm asking not just to flame and argue.

Damn! Ok, I stand like a man and take my shot! I'll stand corrected here! Should have read the thread... (Note to self: no more buzzed posting from iPhone when bored)... Cheers!

Well I've heard announcements in stadium higher than the paid attendance numbers you posted. Just curious where these phantom
Numbers come from.
Numbers come from.
