That is like saying Oregon overlooked Auburn in the BCS in anticipation of meeting LSU to start 2011.

I think Mullen is probably smart enough to realize that State isn't in a position to overlook anyone. According to Jim Donnan, the only West team Mullen has beaten so far is Ole Miss...

actually its nothing like that at all.
The BCSCG is the last game, why would anyone overlook their last game, especially for a game 9 months later when a title is on the line? Now when you are playing a team in week 2, that struggled with Utah State the week before and on deck is your home opener vs a team that has beaten you 11 strait years, well that's a different story. Not saying they did over look Auburn, but your comparision makes zero sense.
