they were lucky also. three facemask calls not called, two horse collars, a blatant pass intf. not called and several unorthodox busted coverages thrown their way. if hatch had landed a few of those touch passes in the first half it would have never been a game at all.

Hitman..."I love LSU. But I wouldn't have given us a rat's arse when Auburn got to our 19 on their first drive of the second half. We deserved to win. We are better than Auburn. We were lucky.

Okay, let's flip the coin. At home against a Top 10 team. Terrible cold start-- except for the superhuman Scott.
LSU had 106 yards in the first half.
LSU outscored Auburn 23-7 in the second half, and
and finished with almost 300 yards in the second half (292). AU got their 2 big plays on a lucky scramble and one pass play-- 72 yards of the 137 they got in the second half.
What game were you watching?
