He doesn't have to eclipse everything that Hurts has done at bama to prove that he's the better QB.
If you don't base comparisons on stats or game film, what exactly do you base it on?

If you're stuck on stats just say so. Burrow is the better QB

I'm not saying you're wrong, but what is your basis for this?

God why are you so defensive? I think Burrow did a solid job last year and is poised for a big season coming up. I'm just not ready to say he's a better QB than Hurts, the 2016 SEC Offensive Player of the Year.

What does he have to do? Or what has he done, rather, to prove he's a better QB?

I can't imagine that anyone with a brain would argue that Burrow isn't the better QB. I don't care what Hurts has accomplished so far.

So you think the people that look at the facts/evidence are the ones that don't have a brain? That's an interesting take.

Burrow has potential to be better than Hurts. You're looking at his trajectory and are projecting that Burrow will make a huge leap this season.

But i don't see how anyone can look at their respective careers and conclude that Burrow is the better QB based on what's already happened, which is why you're saying you don't care about the evidence. It completely contradicts what you're saying.

Hilarious watching you trolls swarm in and defend an opponent. Shocking I tell ya. So using stats only, hell the big 12 QBs should all be first rounders. Here is a fact. Hurts had all day to pass behind the Alabama line. He still list his starting job. Why? Because when he plays good defenses he becomes one dimensional. Give burrow that time and that line, and his stats are significantly better. I know I'm wasting my time though. You guys have one goal.

I've watched them both play and it's my opinion and my opinion only. I'm comfortable with it and we'll see at the end of this season. If I'm still here I'll be prepared to eat crow but I don't think that I'll have to.

Has it occurred to you that some individual(s) may have depth of knowledge that vastly exceeds yours in some esoteric area? Like a football position group or two?

And that depth of knowledge completely trumps any stats you may have available to you?

Hurts will likely have a big year. He plays garbage defenses all year. You'll see these same trolls disregarding competition and pointing out his stats. Let em. That's all they are is trolls. Ever notice they are always defending everything non lsu.

My eyes and what they tell me. What makes you think that I don't watch and rewatch every game and every snap.

Hurts is a tailback who can throw a little bit. He's JT Barrett, but a slightly better runner.

They simply don't know what they're talking about. I'm satisfied with my conclusion they can't pick it apart although they'd love too. All they can do is howl and knash teeth. It's my opinion. their opinion of my opinion carries no weight whatsoever.

They're so fricking pathetic. I can't imagine anyone watching those two play and coming away with the opinion that Hurts is the better QB. I mean if all you do is compare stats and make a decision off of that. Again how can you feel that you've made an informed decision? You can't.

They don't. They are trolls. Stats play a part, but in college, it's hard to compare since teams play significantly different levels of competition. In the NFL, stats are more reliable.
