I will be in Charleston for the South Carolina game At is at 8 pm now. Looking for suggestions on watching the game at a nice restaurant other than a sport bar. Help would greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sam

Umm nice restaurant, what exactly is your definition of nice?

I am trying to think of a few places just want to understand more what you mean, Charleston has tons of places to eat a lot of their classier restaurants will not have a tv in the dining room area.

IIRC correctly, the LSU fans there watch it at King St Grill

ETA: its a sports bar kind of, but the food is above average

Yea I was going to suggest that, but it definitely markets itself as a sports bar and is not considered a nice place to go eat but it also is a full restaurant. Personally I think the food sucks, but I also did live next store to it for a couple years so I may be a bit biased.

Check out Southend Brewery, good food, they make their own beer in house and have TVs. Much better spot than King St. Grille IMO.

Also, Coast Bar and Grille is good and I am pretty sure has a couple TV's, just call and ask when you try and make a reservation.

Macintosh is also very nice, they have one tv behind the bar, and is not the best football atmosphere.

I know the finer places are not going to have a TV in the dining room but looking for a place like maybe Fleming's, Gino's or Sullivan's that has a few TVs in the lounge area that can seat 4 people.

Thanks

King st. grille or O'Malley's are the only answers here. I'm not sure that any NICE restaurant will be airing it. I'm in Charleston as well btw.

Also if you want a good view, check out California Dreaming on the Charleston harbor. Best view in town, it's not a sports bar by any means but does have a small bar with a few tv's.

I'm not a local, but I was there for the N Texas game and watched it at King St - was a good time, but it's not what you're looking for.

Pavilion Bar is a large rooftop hotel outdoor patio with a TV... nice, upscale feel and you might be able to order off the dinner menu from the restaurant downstairs.

Side note: make sure you have one meal at Husk. Unreal.

Go to Halls chophouse on king, have to get there a little early to have time to get 4 seats at bar. Prepare to spend your arse, prepare to get approached by Russian prostitutes, and prepare to get groped by the owner when you leave.
I am from BR and live in charleston. Rooftop bar on vendue has big tvs and less formal.

Pavilion is one of my favorite places to go in Charleston but DO NOT go there for a game. You can't even get to the bar to get a drink let along watch a game.

If you have a car, drive out the Maybank Highway (SC Rte 701) to a restaurant called The Fat Hen. Little high-top tables in the bar area, one TV but it's a decent one, and food that rivals the better restaurants in downtown Charleston that are too "special" to actually have TVs at the bar.

Ok then like i said, O'malleys (usually a large LSU fanbase, off of King St.) King St. Grille or California Dreaming (the only one that's not a sports bar)
