If there is any truth to this, it is a shame a Sophmore from Destrehan had to point it out to them.
With that said, I would lay even money on it being true.
Can't criticize the two plays that led to a TD. FWIW, thought we abandoned the run way too much in Q3.

Damn, am I the only one here that watched the Sunday night LSU football show w/Miles & Gordy?
The showed a clip in the locker room after the game in which Miles (who was on fire) praising the defense and Chavis, then Scott, & then raved about JJ as a great leader.
Miles then said to JJ (yelled, actually) something to the effect that,"this what you want from your quarterback," 'cos he told Miles (not Crowden, not for one play, not for a FG try, not being afraid of a sack, etc.) that Jefferson had confidence that Scott would score if they let him run the ball.
It was similar to what Miles said a few weeks ago when he complimented Scott for being a true senior leader and an ideal teammate when he offered to play fullback & let K. Williams play tailback if the coaches thought it would give them a better chance to win.

Miles was approving plays that gave LSU the best chance to win, as he usually does, and is quite good at it.
To call two running plays in a row caught the whole world off guard. Typical Mad Hatter. If Saban would have done this, everyone would be commenting on what a great strategist he was. When Miles does it, it draws the typical questions like the one in the title of this post.

crowton called a play action pass, jefferson convinced him and miles to let scott run one more time and thats all it took
Maybe Jefferson should be the playcaller

last year vs. Auburn they passed when everyone expected a run to setup a FG...the haters labeled it a stupid call and a potential pick-6, even though it was a great call and throw.
