April 19 game versus UL-Lafayette at the Box, which will be the Wally Pontiff Jr. Foundation Classic. Ticket information for the Pontiff Classic will be announced in the coming weeks

I guess that means it won't be part of your season ticket package.

At the Box, Babycakes stadium is no longer configured for baseball
Not sure if it is included with season ticket holders or not
It may be a separate game you have to purchase

What does this mean?

It’s a baseball stadium.

It’s a baseball stadium. Designed for baseball.

Its not for rugby. They’re forcing rugby onto a baseball stadium.

They can play baseball there at any time.

Are there no other "neutral" baseball stadiums that can be used in New Orleans for this?

I live in BR and regularly made the trip to NOLA for this game. It means a lot and was well-attended by locals. The "special" nature of the game is lost by having it at the Box. It's almost like just another home game. I'd vote to move it to UNO so NOLA residents can enjoy a game close to home.

I miss those days. Skip school and watch baseball all day in ac. Good times.

It never was part of season tickets. The purpose of the game is to make money for the WP, Jr. Foundation and to remember Wally.

It’s great in theory but I’ve been to UNO for the past 2 LSU games and their stadium is not equipped for something like that. Zephyr/Baby Cake Stadium was perfect for it back in the day
