closest accomodations to the stadium is the Holiday Inn Select/Vanderbuilt. Balconies on the back of the building actually overlook the stadium. Marriot is next, still easy walking distance.

$150 Embassy Suites. Two room suites w/ a pull out couch. So if your buddies decides to come last minute they can crash on the couch and not on the floor. It's in the middle of Broadway w/ a good "free" full breakfast. About 1 mile from stadium.

How long could we wait to book a hotel room? Nashville should be big enough to accommodate a weekend football game and then some I would imagine.

We're staying at the Holiday Inn Vanderbilt, right next to the stadium. Perfect place to tailgate as they have a huge parking lot and it's free to park for guests. Sports bar on site as well and plenty of LSU fans
