Saban is gonna go down as the greatest coach ever so you're right when it comes to the near future. The only thing that really matters is that LSU stays in the top 5 -10 yearly in recruiting and meets their needs . Les did a terrible job of roster management his last few years on the job and while LSU had highly ranked classes they were severely lacking LB, OL, and DL depth ..

Les always seem to lack either DLine or oline depth and coaches like Saban learned how to progress while Les became stagnant over time.
