That's not the question. He has Alleva's blessing. If this job opening cropped up next year after another near last place finish in the SEC, then this would be a real possibility.

Alleva's blessing?


Alleva's job is to make sure the programs are making money. He has failed in Basketball. The coach he hired has failed.


Neither Alleva or Johnson have tremendous job security at this time, regardless of internet rumors.

Alleva has not done shite for out program except hire what looks like a total loser of a basketball prices, implement on campus parking fees and piss off Miles with his public letter last year.
Not what you might consider a glowing record. And it goes right along with his crappy handling of the Duke rape allegations.
