Can anyone give a count of how many underclasmen have played important snaps this year? I’m willing to bet it’s the highest in the country

I can’t, however I read that against Bama we had about 45 participants and about a dozen were NOT underclassmen. I can’t remember the exact numbers, but that’s close.

It’s bizarre how undermanned we are against an all-SEC schedule.

When you account for special teams my guess would be close to every scholarship underclassmen has played besides some of the lineman on both sides.

I truly believe without the opt outs we would have finished anywhere between 7-3 or 8-2. Hard to replace that production off of both sides of the ball. Not here to talk hypotheticals but it is discerning that this was only a glaring problem at LSU.

Young talent on the field early can only help us moving forward though..... let’s ride

We were the most inexperienced team in the country, so I bet you're right.
