Stay away from south Baton Rouge!!!

You'll want to stay anywhere north of Florida Blvd and the closer you get to I-110 the better (look for streets with Indian names... feathers, not dots).

I'd recommend Ten Flags Inn on Airline Hwy for lodging

have mad respect for the LSU athletic program, especially the rich and storied history of LSU football. Visiting Tiger Stadium has been very high on my bucket list of stadiums to see for a long, long time. I circled my calendar for our September, 2024 match-up as soon as the UCLA-LSU game was scheduled roughly a decade ago.

See, this is how you come to another message board. Humble and full of respect. Make sure any recommendations on places to go get vetted twice. Hope you have a good time but not to much of a good time. Were your UCLA gear and take getting tigerbaited, and you should get well fed and full of liquor.

Mother's in NO for breakfast Sunday.

It is really good. I know it’s a little chainified now, but Ruby Slipper is a good breakfast/brunch option. It’s always been good when we’ve gone to NOLA. But get there early or be prepared to wait a while over a weekend.

First it is gonna be hotter than you are used to! Great places to eat in NOLA but be super vigilant about safety. Shrimp or roast beef (or combo) poboy for lunch at Parkway Tavern and Bakery. Visit Lafitte’s Blacksmith bar for some history or Napoleon House or Old Absinthe House bar. There are some nice rooftop bars in town. Dinner at Galatoires, Arnauds, GWFins, Clancy’s or Commanders to name a few! LSU fans are feisty but are very welcoming!!

make sure to get in the stadium early to witness the pre-game Tiger Rag!
Tiger Rag at Pre-Game? That's a new one on me.

It's called "Pre-Game and Touchdown." THOSE FAMOUS FOUR NOTES!

Pay attention because it's the only time you'll hear the Band in the game. (Except for Half-time)

Make sure to kiss your loved ones goodbye.

Not sure if you mean his loved ones may die in Los Angeles violence while he’s gone or he may die in NOLA BR violence while there.
