Tyrann Mathieu question

Help a brother out...I have been racking my brain all morning.
Going back to the Cotton Bowl his freshman year against Texas A&M. I distinctly remember him ripping the ball from their big white TE and taking it to the house. Why then is he not credited with a TD in that game? I'm sure there is a good reason, but I have been racking my brain and can't remember what happened on that play.
I even watched a clip of the play this morning and it happened, but no record of it in the statistics book anywhere.
There was prob a penalty or he stepped out or his knee touched, but I can't recall. So help my brain!

Baker committed a BS penalty and it was called back.

Also, for anyone interested.
Tyrann Mathieu in 2011 led the team in 7 defensive statistical categories: tackles, forced fumbles, fumbles recovered, defensive TDs, passes broken up, passes defended, special teams TDs, and was tied for 2nd in INT's.
2010 as a freshman who only started in 1 game!
- 57 tackles
- 4.5 sacks
- 2 INT's
- 5 Forced fumbles
- 3 Fumble recoveries
So in a short two year span he has racked up:
- 4 TD's
- 4 INT's
- 11 Forced Fumbles
- 8 Fumble recoveries
- 133 tackles
- 6 sacks

Not bad for a player only recruited by Tennessee and LSU. The only other schools that showed interest were:
Florida Intl
Hampton
LA Monroe
Miami of Ohio
SMU
Southern Miss
Tulane

Somebody on here or on the SECr posted a UT board thread discussing how their staff had a hard on for him. It was a really great read since it was contemporaneous with his recruitment.

A real nice read in retrospect. Note that in camps he was "unbelievable" in pass coverage. He clearly sucks, is overrated, and was exposed, no?
