are two of the worst teams in FBS. I don’t think this NIL experiment is working

What in your opinion isn't working. Seems to me it is working as it should, players making money from their name image and likeness

I wonder if businesses will continue to fund fruitless NIL ventures. Surely some of these donors are upset at the outcome of their teams- it seemed as if a lot of big NIL players approached it as "pay to win".
With the inability to tie NIL pay to performance I don't think the brands participating in NIL are really getting a fair shake. As a NIL funder there are only so many times I'd give a kid like Quinn Ewers money to put up the kind of season he has had (or hit the portal after a year).
Additionally, guys like Myles Brennan had the option to keep NIL money despite not playing this year.
Also- the Decoldest Crawford NIL commercial was great for laughs, but I wonder what effect it had on business for the AC company he represented.
The business end of NIL works both ways and while it has looked great for some players, I don't think the guys on the other end are feeling the same way.
