Between this topic and the other one plenty of people claim they dont care about Tulane v LSU but they sure as heck have a bunch to say and pretty harsh... LSU cares. Especially in baseball because Tulane has proven to be close in baseball and no other sports. Of course hoops sucks at lsu and tulane so that would look like the uconn v butler game

Injuries happen

Exactly, to all teams. So don't blame that as some kind of disadvantage because it happens everywhere.

Yes but if you recruit 5 OFs and 2 Ps then recruiting is to blame. Called strategy.

Kind of a blanket statement dont ya think? At least he was giving some kind of insight into it. You just stated the obvious followed by a bad excuse for an insult. Good luck next time

The Rick Jones show was full of typical excuses such as injuries, tough conference, academics, etc. He even blamed his hitting woes on the pitching injuries - what a joke. The most annoying thing was that Jones and the host would never refer to LSU by name. They would only refer to the "school up the river" - totally classless and unprofessional.

The Maineri show was postive, insightful, genuine and he spoke very highly of Tulane and Jones. It very well done.

That's just the difference between Tulane and LSU.

It's little man syndrome. For Tulane it really is about LSU.

For LSU, whose goals are much higher, this game is nothing special. There is nothing to gain by speaking bad of its opponent...it would only add undeserved legitimacy to that program.

Some things never change.

The pitching injuries are a very legitimate excuse, they only have 6 available pitchers total. Think about that for just a weekend series, then add in 1 to 2 mid-week games. That is brutal.

So explain why Tulane has five, yes I said five starters back from last years hitting 100 points less than last year. They are not pitchers. I am gonna side with the original post: Tulane = No Class.
