Bolt ran that time in a downpour. Dude ran a 9.69 and pulled up at the end of that race. Holliday ain't in Bolt's league and never will be. Best shot is to make in the NFL as a return specialist.
+1
9.991 is blazing, but 9.69 is just insanity. It's ridiculous. Bolt could turn and run backwards at the tape and still win.

They do round. If he ran a 9.98(1-9) he would have ran a 9.99. They dont round down and they dont go out to the thousandth place. If there was a tie of two times they would have had TH running a 10.00 (9.991) listed and the next guy would have had a 10.00 (9.996 or whatever)
So then the article was incorrect. It should have read that they round up to the nearest hundredth, not tenth. Got it.

Holliday when you think about it is actually faster than a lot of these guys because of the shortness of his frame he's working way more harder than a Usain Bolt, Bolt can glide easily on his huge, long frame and put up a impressive time, but I'm actually more impressed with TH putting up a number like that because of the fact that he is running way more harder and faster than them to compete with them.

"he's running extremely hard"- satisfied Mrs. GeauxLsux, my teacher from English 101, grammar police on here are funny.
whatever way you put it, the end result is that for his size, he is running much harder and faster than his tall counterparts.

Uh....no he's not running faster than Bolt or he would have a faster time. He's got a quicker leg turnover than his taller competitors, but he's not faster unless he's beating them. It's that simple.

quote:Not yet. But, he'll never be able to run with the big guys. The best he'll do will be 9.95, and that's at his peak. Exceptionally fast. But, not olympic quality.
So can we say he ran a 9.99 100?

Track always rounds up, so he ran a 9.991 or a 10.0, whichever you prefer.
Xavier Carter's 10.0 was similar to Trindon's time. So, technically Carter is the first to go sub-10, 20, and 45.
